Baton Bijamin (Director)

He started with Borneo Eco Tours since October 1991 and is one of the founders of Borneo Backpackers. His involvement in tourism operations, wealth of management skills and creative ideas are the keys to steer Borneo Backpackers to a greater height. Baton believes that offering excellent customer service is the ultimate recipe to creating a memorable holiday experience to our guests. He welcomes travelers from around the world to enjoy the hospitality of Borneo , especially at Borneo Backpackers.

Susan Soong (General Manager)

Backed by almost two decades of experience in tourism industry, Susan leads her team with unwavering enthusiasm and incessant ideas. Susan, a keen backpacker traveller is also the president of the Sabah Backpacker Operators Association (2008/2009) and the Assistant General Manager of Borneo Eco Tours.

Rosnanie Daman (Receptionist)

Fondly known as Nanie, our receptionist is a big fan of traveling herself. Nanie is friendly and shall be most happy to offer heaps of suggestion on what you could do in Sabah during your stay here.

Edith Simpun (Receptionist)

"Edith" or "Dit" is dubbed by many as a dedicated and honest team player. Come to Borneo Backpackers and Dit will be among the cheerful and heartwarming receptionists to greet you "Selamat Datang!" (welcome).

Auntie Alisia (Housekeeping)

Auntie Alisia; as amicable as she looks is like a neighbourhood mom that she simply does it all from cleaning, housekeeping, taking care of guest's laundry to whatever is needed to be done in Borneo Backpackers. Auntie Alisia has a positive spirit that she always wants a continuous improvement in herself to serve BB visitors better. Do not hesitate to ask her for help, chat with her during your leisure time and you will know what a warmth person she is.
